surrounded with intelligence

there are rare chances of my getting hooked to a book...but when i do..i want the world to know that i am reading one so that everyone can ask me my opinion or review about it.same is for movies..when i see a movie i want people to ask me for my review about it.the only difference between the two is that i rarely read a book whereas i watch one movie everyday..
i am presently reading 'winners stand alone' by paulo coehlo.i admire the way he writes though its just the second book of him that i am reading.the first was 'alchemist'.i find his IQ to be extraordinary.he makes you see not just one side of a coin..but almost every curve or side of every coin on earth.he throws light on the simplest things of life that one might never have even thought of.
i must say that there are few people around me who really inspire me to read books although one major reason behind me trying to read a book is to improve my language skills and to increase creativity.
next- i saw a movie today!'angels and demons'. again a very intelligent movie.i really liked it.it never struck me that history is history and so much in depth.how can people remember every bit of it. the climax was pretty easy to guess after what happened in the pope's room where 2 people were killed.overall i give it a ****half.
rohan was to drop me home after the movie..and on our way we were discussing how our religion is simple and free of complexity in comparison to other religions.no offence to other religions..i really like the uniqueness of all the religions..but things are simple..and intangible..and clear and modern.may be its just what i can see..may be things aren't what i see..there can be a zillion secrets or stories or turns to it..
anyways..
glad to see so much intelligence around me which includes intelligent people too!
going off to bed.
goodnight.
take care.
drive safe
ciao.

  1. glad to see you back at blogging!

so you've been reading, eh? nice. read 'Veronica Decides to Die' by Coelho. now that is a nice book!

as for religion. i have a few words to say here. it is not as simple as it seems. even if you were to say so for 'our' religion...intelligent people you say...i say we shall have a mature and sensible talk about religion someday when we catch up once again and feel like it. cause intelligence is slightly overrated anyways.

    :)
