lil things

when u are happy you feel that the whole world is overflowing with joy..but believe me even if one is sad..the little things around you bring a smile on your face, but on one condition and that is if and only if you keep your eyes open! the set of emotions that i have been feeling in the last few months..brings momentary joy. the small gestures i see around me enlightens me. it restores the faith in life. it brings a twinkle in my eyes.
my heart has captured pictures of a mother holding her child's hand in hand, a grandfather playing with his grandchild, a father shopping for his girl's wedding, the diwali lights all over the city, a girlfriend sweetly playing with his boyfriend, a boyfriend pulling his girlfriend gently towards him to kiss her head, underprivileged kids playing on the road unaffected by the poverty and the traffic, the Cadbury advertisements on TV..iss diwali aap kise khush karege?, parents getting their little one cotton candies....and many more similar moments. isn't it picture perfect?
this reminds me of the concept of perfection. so as a clinical psychologist i believe that imperfection is part of perfection, its a subjective term. when you denote a person to be perfect, it is assumed that imperfections are taken into account and despite of the imperfections or flaws you still feel rather perceive that person to be perfect. i don't know if it makes sense to the people who read this..but to me it makes a lot of sense.
anyways...
amruta..if you are reading this..did you notice that we start expressing our thoughts on blog only during our reading vacation time, the time when we are supposed to study...? it always happens with me..that when i have exams on my head, i get tuned into an introspective mode..
anyways...
goodnight for now..
take care
drive safely
ta!
