Counselor's desk for a school

Hello
Here is a story that I wrote as a psychologist (I prefer calling myself a psychologist rather than a counselor) for school kids. The theme of the story revolves around the six pillars of character...hope you enjoy reading it. below is the full content of the circular- "the counselor's desk"

Dear children
Have you ever thought why your parents are strong? Why are they good human beings? Why are they respected by others? Why can they solve all the problems?
I think your parents know the secret of six pillars. Have you heard about the six pillars of
character? Don’t worry! I am going to reveal this secret to you :)
Long time ago, a king tried to build a palace on one pillar. This was the Green pillar of ‘Responsibility’.  The pillar reminded the king about his duties towards his kingdom. It prompted the king to think of the
consequences before he acted.
One morning, the king saw that the roof of the palace is about to fall. So he asked his servants to build a new pillar, the Orange pillar of ‘Fairness’. This pillar taught the king to
# Play by the rules                                         # Take turns and share
# Be open-minded                                          # listen to others
# Don’t blame others carelessly
The next morning he saw that the roof was still unsteady. He asked ‘The Orange pillar of Fairness’ and the ‘Green pillar of Responsibility’ to advise. Both the pillars suggested that two more pillars should be placed. So the king ordered his servants to immediately build two more pillars.
The Blue Pillar of ‘Trustworthiness’ stood tall. The king saw the Blue pillar and asked “O Blue Pillar, you are so tall and strong, can I know the reason behind your strength?’’ The Blue pillar of Trustworthiness revealed his diet. His diet was to follow the routine of
# Being honest
# Not to deceive, cheat or steal         # Be reliable — do what you say you’ll do
The king was so happy that he decided to add this to his daily diet.
Then the king went to the new Yellow pillar of ‘Respect’. He noticed that his palace was lit with the brightness of the yellow pillar. The king was tempted to ask the yellow pillar, ‘‘O bright Yellow pillar, how are you so bright and radiant?’’ The yellow pillar shared, “King, whenever I give respect to others, I gain respect in return. This adds glow to me.”
That day, the King announced in his kingdom this golden rule:
#Treating others with respect                 # Be patient with differences
#Use good manners, not bad language
# Be considerate of the feelings of others
#Don’t threaten, hit or hurt anyone
# Deal peacefully with anger, insults and disagreements
A few days passed, and the king noticed that the pillars were feeling a little sad. So, the king asked them, “O pillars, what is wrong? Why are you sad?”
The pillars told the king, O mighty king, the roof of your palace is very heavy. Our shoulders have started paining. We are sorry, but can you please build two more pillars?” The king thought the whole night about the request. He thought about the contribution of the wise pillars. These pillars had made him a better person.
Next morning, he commanded his servants to build two more pillars. The pillars were very happy. They were about to get two more friends.
The Red Pillar of ‘Caring’ was built. The other pillars happily welcomed him. He spread the message of
# Being kind
# Be compassionate and show you care
# Express gratitude
# Forgive others
# Help people in need
The king was so happy. He gave a pat to himself, and said, “well done, good decision”. He couldn’t wait to meet the new pillar, the sixth pillar. He ran to him. This was the Purple pillar of ‘Citizenship’. The king looked at the pillar and asked, “O Purple pillar, what are you made of?” The purple pillar revealed, “If every person in your kingdom started adding these ingredients in their daily recipes, the day is not far when your kingdom will be the best  kingdom in the universe” The king immediately asked all his people to gather around the Purple pillar of the palace. Once everybody surrounded the Purple pillar, the pillar suggested
# Give your share to make your school and society better
# Cooperate                                          # Get involved in social activities
# Be a good neighbor                               # Obey laws and rules
# Respect authority                                 # Protect the environment
The next morning, when the king woke up he saw that the pillars were smiling and happy. So were the people of his kingdom. The king was so thankful to the pillars.
All the pillars-
Green pillar of ‘Responsibility’
Orange pillar of ‘Fairness’
Blue Pillar of ‘Trustworthiness’
Yellow pillar of ‘Respect’
Red Pillar of ‘Caring’
Purple pillar of ‘Citizenship’
stayed united, strong and spread peace and happiness in the king’s kingdom. The king was proud of his Six Pillars of Character. This kingdom never fell down.

My dear children, once you start following any of these pillars, paint them with their color.
Lets become like the king in this story, follow the pillars and spread awareness about them.
